Greetings

Our first Ministry Journey across the U.S. with our bus and trailer. The trailer is great! It has room to store all of our ministry supplies and should provide shelter and protection for the motorcycles. We’ll see how that goes.

First of all we would very much like to THANK ALL who came to share and help at each of the rallies. God sent just the right people to help and we thank Him and all who helped with the outreach.

We started on Labor Day at the “Mid State Rally” in Paso Robles. What a blessing our new trailer is to the Ministry. Each rally we have attended so far we were able to use the trailer as our booth. We just let out the awnings and we were set with all the supplies that we needed inside the trailer. When we arrived at Paso Robles a vendor that Rich was able to minister to at Mammoth in June stopped his car and told Rich, “The Bible you gave to me I can understand”. It was a Hope for the Highway Bible. When Rich gave it to him he prayed that he would understand it and of course the man only needed an open heart for the Holy Spirit to speak to him. He wanted another Hope for the Highway Bible for his daughter. We had many children for crafts. In the beginning of the September we had 720 Jesus Is the Light flashlights, Smile Jesus Loves You balls, etc. now at the end of October they were all gone. Also at Paso Robles we handed out free cups of Ice Cold Water in the ministry cups and scripture biker rags. Before the rallies we have the name of the rally printed on shop rags with the gospel tract that we designed which says, “This rag may clean your hands BUT Jesus can clean your heart.” Bikers receive this item very well. The few weeks we were home was a time of meetings and outreaches and preparation for the events to come. Then we were on our way to Street Vibrations in Reno.

At Reno in addition to the free ministry handouts and the crafts we were joined by the Perlin family and the globe. At the Sunday Service there was one salvation and one recommitment. The salvation was Carlos from Mexico who was on a work leave. At the close of the service Rich prayed with him and found out Carlos lives in the same town in Mexico as Pastor Rafael. Rich called him up right there and Pastor Rafael also talked and prayed with Carlos. He knows this man and his family and is going to visit his family and do the follow up. To get hold of Rafael on a busy Sunday morning was a miracle in itself.
