May June 2005 Wow what a time the past two months have been. May started off with Rich performing a wedding for a couple from the Sacramento HOG Chapter. We helped at the Meadows Depot Benefit Drive where Rich shared with some Gospel Magic, Jennie performed with her ventriloquist doll Donna, and Streams in the Desert blessed the event with their country Gospel music. The Wedding in a Beautiful Park Streams in the Desert / Dave & Roxie Burns Then it was on to New Mexico for the Renegade Rally. Monte Perlin was asked to perform there so he was able to let J C and Us Ministries set up booth. It was a good ministry time there and the people were open to the gospel. Monte, Sam, Renegade By The Globe N.M. Couple Police Officer helping with PA We are praying about a door that might be opening for outreach. A Christian vendor from Kentucky loved the show that the Perlins put on and what he heard Rich announcing on the P.A. about how Jesus is a part of our lives. He is hoping to arrange several “shows” at some strip malls in Kentucky. If the doors open will have lots of children’s outreach with crafts, Globe O Cross, and lots to time to have a program and messages about the love of Jesus. We headed for home with Monte Perlin’s truck smoking very badly. We prayed that it would make it all the way home. We reached Williams Arizona then went to Prescott Valley to visit with Pastor Dan, Nancy and Lorena of the Fountain of Life Church. The Perlins truck made it home, but our motor home lost its engine near Kingman Arizona. We had it towed into Kingman to a Ford dealership were we purchase a used pick-up so we could take our craft and ministry supplies to the next rally. We also packed a tent that we carry in our motor home so we would have a place to stay the following weekend. We hired the Ford dealership to install a new engine while we were on the road. By the way, the Perlin’s truck gave out when it came to Elk Grove for an out reach on July forth, but more about that next time.
Then we went to Tulare California. It was a great time for ministry doing free crafts, children church in which one child asked Jesus into his heart. One time Rich went out to our tent where a group of outlaw bikers were waiting for him, because they wanted Rich to pray for an unknown matter that was troubling them. After many years of witnessing to them what happen that day was a big step forward.
