"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their Strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles: they shall run, and not be weary: and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
WE are so grateful for all of your prayers and support during our time of testing and though it is still difficult, God is still faithful. May started off with the Western Festival that we shared about in our last newsletter. During the months of May and June we attended many motorcycle events. The more Jennie rides her new trike the more she enjoys it. There is a big difference going from two wheels to three, but it is worth the effort when you see the crowd that it brings over. We attended two funerals in June; one from our Harley group and another from the out-law group. Both of them were ladies who died unexpectedly. Everyday we spend here on earth is a gift from God, but the biggest gift He gives us is when we invite Him into our lives. We know the hurt the loved ones are going through and we can share God’s comfort with them. The Ministry was invited to attend Motorcycle Madness in Santa Maria, which is about 6 hours away from our home. Eric Towle drove the Ministry bus and trailer to the event Thursday and set up the Ministry booth, Rich and Jennie left on Friday after taking the grandkids to school. They were looking forward to a nice motorcycle ride to the event, instead they had a burning hot sun scorched ride that required a stop every forty minutes to soak down and cool off. The ministry time was special we shared with a woman and her daughter who lost everything in a house fire and a couple who were going through marital problems. The craft time with the bags and beads was good and opened doors to share with many people. Rich invited the other Christian bike clubs at the event to share in the Sunday Service and also invited Steve Wenzel, our area coordinator, for the region to give the message. Jennie and Randy shared a ministry skit. ** Note - Left Click on any picture to see a larger version **
