"But
they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their Strength: they shall mount up
with wings as eagles: they shall run, and not be weary: and they shall walk
and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
Greetings;
We are so grateful for all of your prayers,
during our time of hardship. God is our Strength. During the week we are
helping care for our grandchildren, and on
the weekends we go out to different
motorcycling events. Rich attended two Memorial services for members of our Hog
chapter. The first was for Carol who died
in a motorcycle accident where Rich was
asked to share. The second was for Paulette who was murdered by her husband.
There are a lot of people hurting and
Tammie's Memorial service has opened doors
for us to share the Love of Jesus with them. In March we had a booth and worked
with Monte Perlin's Globe-O-Cross
at the Rally by The River in lake Havasue,
Arizona. The promoters put on a good event and there were many opportunities for
ministry with at least two people
rededicating their lives to the Lord after
Sunday Service at the Globe. **

After the Rally Eric drove
the bus home and Skip one of the promoters, drove Rich and Jennie to Las Vegas,
Nevada, so they could catch a flight to Florida for
a Charles Stanley Cruise. It
took a miracle for everything to fall into place so they would have time to go.
They flew all night and arrived in Florida just in time to
board the ship. This
was a time to soak in God's Word, through music, Bible Study, and even a time of
laughter after wiping away tears, with a Christian comedian
and a Ventriloquist on
board. Jennie and Randy ( Her ventriloquist puppet) shared a little about JC and
Us Ministries during the talent show. After that it was back
home and back to
work.
April was a busy
month of riding, with Rich and Jennie attending eight different motorcycle
events. With so much to do they were unable to attend the Laughlin
River Run in Nevada,
so Rich asked a team from CMA who we have been working with at this event to
cover it. We sent them our banner and some supplies and
they did a great job.
The first weekend in May was the Western Festival in our home town of Elk Grove.
In the past we would set up with Globe - O - Cross, but
they were unable to
attend this year so we declined to have a booth. But the Lord spoke to Jennie's
heart and said " I gave you your beautiful Trike, use it for
Me." We got
a booth right next to the Carnival rides which meant a lot of foot traffic. All
we had to do was say Yes. God handled the rest! He gave us a great
team to work the
booth.

In The Book of Proverbs it says that many hands make the work light, and God
proved His Word true at the Western Days
Festival
on May 3rd & 4th in Elk Grove. The "US" part of JC & Us was
such a blessing. Many of "US" got together for breakfast that
Saturday morning
before
heading over to the festival booth, which was right by the Ferris Wheel. Before
long, there were enough of "US", that we were able to divide up
duties,
so that
one team helped children at the bead working table, another was inflating
balloons, and yet another was talking to people at the Bible and Tract give-
away
table, and
a 4th team assisted Eric as he took Poloraid pictures of young and old alike who
wished to have their photo taken while sitting on Jennie's '57 Chevy
Boss Hoss
Trike. ( Is that a mouthful to say or what?) Over the course of the weekend,
over 200 people left the booth with their photo set in a frame reminding
them that
"JESUS LOVES YOU"!
