                                       Jesus said “I am the Light to the World; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of LIFE.

The month’s ministry started out at Love Inc (Love In the Name of Christ). Our church gave one week of service to Love Inc. Meeting the financial and spiritual needs as they arose. A call came in stating that a couch and dining room set was donated and had to be picked up; then another call came in stating they were in need of the items that were just picked up. Rich with a team from our Church went to the house that needed the items. Six children from that home received the Lord after the items were delivered. Rich wanted them to write their spiritual birthday in a Bible. A trip was made back to Love Inc to get some Bibles and then back to the house with the Bibles. This time the grandmother was there and some more children and they all wanted Bibles as well. So back we went to Love Inc for more Bibles that we delivered that same day. With a Church donating just one week to Love Inc much can be done to reach the lost with the Light of Jesus.

One delightful event was when Mike and Becky moved back to Clear Lake California from Oregon. We have worked with them in the past and are very happy that they are back. The home that they purchased needed a lot of clean up with which we were able to help. The people that lived in it before allowed bathroom problems go without repair that leaked into a bedroom plus their pets that used the rug instead of going outside. What a smell! The many spots on the floor are from the pets. After we helped put in a new floor the smell was good. They are already working for the Lord at their home in Clear Lake reaching out to the homeless there.

The Month of April ended with Two very important events. One was the Mission Outreach Conference at our church on Saturday and Sunday, that we were unable to

attend, because we were at Laughlin Nevada. We arranged to have a booth there with some of our Team Members to handle it. They were able to share with the

people at our church some of what we do when we are on the road.  We wish to Thank Them for doing such a Good Job !

The other was the Laughlin River Run. The Ministry in Laughlin was a Blessed time. Jennie handed out 39 children's bags ( in each was a flashlight with "Jesus is

the Light" on it. She would  hand out the bags stating that their flashlight wouldn't work without a battery. Then she would hand them a battery stating that We are

like the flashlight, and that we don't work right without Jesus in our Lives. Plus she and Rich handed out 200 Scripture rags.

        During the time at Laughlin River Run we set up camp at Davis Camp that is on the Arizona side. Where for the last three years we have worked serving free coffee and ice water as well as providing Bibles, tracts and this year free apple and berry power bars from Love Inc. We work along side Russ and Judy from Honor Bound Ministry. One Salvation and two recommitments took place at that camp. The Lord gave us a special couple to minister to that long weekend (Tony and Evelyn). They came into camp with their motor home that had a wheel with only three studs and two lug nuts and they were about to come off. In addition they had lost their trailer twice on the way. Tony and Evelyn were camped right between Russ and Judy and us. When Rich saw that there was an empty space between us he knew God had someone special to be placed there and they were the ones. Through all the near serious mishaps they endured to get to Laughlin God was protecting them. After they arrived Tony was stung by a bee and had to be taken to the hospital. Satan did not want them to be camped between two Christians. They needed the Light of Jesus in their life. Rich had a good time of sharing with them while he fixed their wheels.
