But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles: they shall run, and not be weary: and they shall walk, and not faint.”  Isaiah 40:31

March –April 2009

Greetings;

This is a day that the Lord had made let us rejoice and be glad in it.

This is the year 2009-the day- the hour – let us Serve our Lord.

March started off with a Ministry Work Day at our home. Much work was done to prepare the Ministry for His Service. Hundreds of socks were folded with the track “What Path are you taking” included in each pair. Shower Bags and Children’s bags are filled and ready to be given out. Thanks to all who came to help!

As usual we attended Biker Meetings and bike outings with other biker groups. By riding with them we develop a relationship that allows us to let our light shine for the Lord.

While we were at the Laughlin River Run in Arizona and Nevada. Bill and Sue helped at an inner City Outreach in Sacramento hosted by FEEDING GOD’S CHILDREN. Here is Sue Neander write up on that event. This afternoon was beautiful. Bev invited us up to their park outreach, which was really well attended. Carla, another lady from there Church and I ran the face-painting tent for 4 hours non-stop. We brought 33 Hellfighters New Testaments with us and had a JC & Us/Feeding God's Children sticker in each New Testament; Bill had a great time giving out the New Testaments. What a blessing!  The great part is that J C and Us Ministries is as we grow we can branch out with other teams.

Laughlin River Run in Arizona and Nevada, We stayed at Davis Camp in Arizona and right across the River is Nevada with the Run taking place in both States. Davis Camp is where we set up a booth with Free Coffee, Ice Water, Snacks, Shower Bags, Kids Bags, Hell Fighters Bibles, Scripture Coins, Rags and more. We set up the Ministry Booth at a popular tenting site were many tent campers stay. With the help of some C.M.A’s we have teamed up to serve our Lord together.  The booth is open 24 hours and is the place where you get to know the campers and share God’s life with them. No Salvations that we know of, but many seeds were planet for our Lord.

                                   to work together for Him at the camp.                                  which also gave us an opportunity to share.

                                The Service ended in a Bike Blessing

            The following weekend we were serving right in our hometown of Elk Grove, looking forward to that and with the possibility of working with the Globe again and the Perlin family where we get to serve our Lord and Savior together, but it was not to be. The Monday before the event Monte and Pam’s daughter Rachel was injured when a horse fell on her broke her hip. The surgery was not until Wednesday and with a fever to follow that-it was not to be. Praise God she is doing much better.
