Greetings;
As I sit down to write another newsletter and read over the
events of the past two months what I am a reading seems so long ago. We have had
two very full months.
It started off with a trip to Love Inc for a meeting
and to pick up ministry supplies. Our grandson Chris was off track from school
and was able to come along with us. It was God’s timing, because Chris had
heard a boy in his Awanas Boys Church group praying to God for help. His single
mother and his sister were going through some very hard times. Chris spoke to
him after class and was able to get a list of needs the family had. Chris picked
up lots of food and personal items the family needed at Love Inc. We also
purchase two new bikes and along with Chris delivered them to the family.
We were also invited to a feeding program in Marysville that was very well
done. First they perform a Christian program and then they give them dinner with
bags of food to take home.
Meadows Depot Easter Toy Run
Meadows Depot is a half-way house for ladies their children. Please pray for Ken
Meadows as he has cancer and is going through some very harsh treatments.
Boys Club from Our Church
We were asked to give a presentation to a Boys Group from our Church called Band
of Brothers. Rich has a painting of the plan of Salvation on his motorcycle.
With the help of the painting Rich was privileged to lead a young boy to the
Lord. Some of the same boys helped us at the Big Western Festival in J C and Us
Booth on Sunday May 1st.
Some of the Motorcycles at the Funeral for Pastor Robert Carrillo
The month of March ended with a sad, but also joyful passing; the kind of joy
you can only have in the Lord. Our dear friend and brother in the Lord Pastor
Robert Carrillo was called home. We had two very full days of helping cook the
meal for the funeral which was in April. Robert and Beverly have touched many
hearts with there kindness.
In April we had a Love Inc meeting and picked up
more supplies. New items come in all the time and we picked up some very nice
non slip socks for men or women and made up a tract to go along with the socks
entitled What Path are you Taking?
We made them available at the Laughlin River Run with good results.
A Very Full Motor Home, Off to another Ministry Mission Trip
On our way home from the mission trip to Laughlin, Nevada, we picked up
Hoss's Wheel chair to bring it back to the person he had borrowed it from that
lives
in Fresno.
