  January / February 2006

Greetings;

A new year is underway and it is time to get items in order for the Ministry Outreach, to order more supplies and repair the trailer and the bus. Our insurance company totaled the trailer, but we purchased the salvage and with the insurance money and some generous donations we will be able to fully restore it and paint it to match the bus which will only improve our presentation.

In January and February we were involved in many local outreaches which started January 1st with a Polar Bear Run. Other events included a Biker funeral, biker meetings and a Sweetheart Run with a beautiful ride to Auburn, Georgetown and Placerville. A couple of thousand bikers were in attendance so it was a great opportunity to see old friends and meet some new ones. We also had a J C and Us Ministries workday at Love Inc which was a very fun and fruitful day.

Our tax person completed our tax records with our profit and loss statement for 2005. Because of our faithful supporters as well as a portion of the inheritance Jennie received when her mother went home to be with the Lord and the money we were finally received for the business we sold eight years ago; for the first time J C and Us Ministries finished the year in the black. We were also able to purchase a ministry bus (motor home) with the money our children would have inherited from the sale of the business property. We look forward to seeing how the Lord will provide for us in 2006.

In the past the International Bible Society provided us with a grant at the beginning of each year to use for the purchase of Hope for the Highway Bibles. We have been informed that due to a lack of funds all grants have been suspended. We ask you to pray for that ministry so they can continue their great work.

Total Ministry expense for 2005 was $50,947.69, which included $10,111. alone for fuel.   Our complete records are available for anyone who wishes to view them.
